Student leaders Kick As NOUN Increases School fees

Amid controversies surrounding the increase in the tuition fees for  NOUN Undergraduate and postgraduate  students,  The National Secretariat of the Congress of NOUN Student has given a prompt reaction to the sudden development.

According to the memo released to CoNS-MEDIA which was signed by the National President, Lady  Comrade Abolore Rukayat Busari, and the Public Relations Officer, Comrade KAREEM Shakiru. O, the students body duly acknowledge the latest development and described it as unwelcome idea while assuring the students of a positive feedback as soon as possible.

“It has come to our notice that there’s been a sudden increments in our school fees. However, this also is a formal appeal to every students to keep calm and trust that a message will be relayed across concerning the increment.

This is also a gentle appeal to the  students to hold on concerning the payment of school fees. CoNS National Secretariat is concerned and also working tirelessly on their end to ensure there’s a positive feedback in no time.

We want to plead to the students to shun any form of protests and unwarranted dialogue without the presence of the student union leadership as we understand that the three Cs (Consultation, Consolidation  and Confrontation) of Aluta will be used accordingly.

Congress of NOUN Students being a progressive union, admires the tranquility and serenity enjoyed so far on our various campuses and enjoins NOUN Management and all necessary stakeholders to react swiftly to our request". The memo reads.

CONS-MEDIA

Good morning to all students of NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA.

The upwardly school fee reveiw which is going to take effect by January 2023, first semester is uncalled-for due to the fact that hardship on Nigerians were caused by our leaders by the so called  politicians, 30,000 minimum wage was not increased but the prices of commodities that the poor Nigerians should have access to cheaply were increased including medical and education, this so called leaders were trying to kill the poor Nigerians slowly and we must stop them, we must not allow this increments to hold ground, we must reject, this is wickedness, this is killing and this is devilish.

Let the protest be like the one of April 17, 1978 in which the slogan says "Alli must go, Obasanjo must die" when there was increment in school fee in Nigeria.

But this time around the slogan should be #OLUFEMIPETERSMUSTGOMALLAMADAMUADAMUMUSTDIE#.

Let this information go viral and ensure you get your PVC whatever is going to cost you, go and get your PVC and make sure you vote this good for nothing government out of power and also make sure to vote in this coming election and vote wisely.

Thank you.
