NOTIFICATION REGARDING TMA MALPRACTICE AND INCOMPLETE RESULTS

NOTIFICATION REGARDING TMA MALPRACTICE AND INCOMPLETE RESULTS

During the processing of semester results, the Directorate of Examination and
Assessment (DEA) identified several students who were previously booked for TMA
malpractice but did not re-attempt their TMAsas directed by the University
Management.

As a result, these students will receive incomplete results (IR) for the
affected courses.

The DEA has provided a list of the affected students and requests that you inform
them of the following options when they visit your study centres:

1.Re-attempt TMAs: Students may choose to re-attempt their TMAs. The new
scores will be merged with their current examination scores. However, please note
that most students may still fail the course due to their low examination scores.

2. Re-register for Courses: Students can re-register for the affected courses now
that the registration portal is open. This option allows them to retake both the
TMA and the examination this semester.
Please ensure that the affected students are appropriately guided and informed of
these options.

Please be suitably guided accordingly.
